Chef-Owners, Sebastiano's

Dan & Elise moved to Portland in 2008 to work for James Beard Award winning chefs Greg Higgins (Higgins Restaurant) and Ken Forkish (Ken's Artisan Bakery, Ken's Pizza). Over the course of 10+ years in Portland the pair worked in various roles in and out of the Portland food scene, but always dreamt of opening their own food business. A family trip to visit Elise's ancestral hometown in Castellammare di Golfo, Sicily in October 2019 sparked inspiration, and Sebastiano's was born!

Dan & Elise have a contagious spirit of hospitality centered around taking care of people. It is fair to say that their love language is food, and they feel grateful to be in the business of feeding people.
